Located in an ancient building in the historic center of Florence, between the Arno River, Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi and the Basilica of Santa Croce, Vittoni Space Florence was inaugurated in November 2022.
The residence belonged to the Bagnesi family who had built their own tower there in the fourteenth century, of which some traces are still present.
Their name derives from Bagno di Montici, the town from which they came, near Florence.
An evocative place of extreme charm, it combines the elegance of the ancient Florentine palaces with the atmosphere of the past.
Ideally inhabited by the magnificent presence of the souls of two marvelous Florentine women, Fosca and Pia Degl’Innocenti, to whom I owe not only my current identity but also my own life.
The Renaissance air mixes with an oriental atmosphere, created by the exotic plants that grow luxuriantly in the light of the courtyard, covered by a glass. The vegetation blends with a decor that ranges from India, Africa and the Middle East.
An ideal place where I would like to promote the meeting of different cultures, different artistic expressions.
LIFE and ART are the two words that summarize the meaning of this space.
Vittoni Space Florence wants to offer cultural and social events, art exhibitions and international cultural exchanges.
